
Rick Hancock, Ph.D., is a Registered Clinical Counselor
practicing in the province of British Columbia in association with Denis
Boyd and Associates, psychologists and counselors. He has a Doctorate
in Counseling Psychology.
As an associate in private practice, Rick uses a number of diversified
counseling techniques to assist individuals, couples, and families with
a variety of issues. Solution-focused and cognitive therapies are used
to help individuals deal with anxiety, depression, trauma, abuse, addictions,
grief and loss, career changes, lifestyle changes, and emotional dependencies.
Counseling is provided for couples and families faced with marital conflict,
communication breakdown, stress and parenting concerns. Special assistance
is given to those individuals and families coping with issues of addiction
and difficult teen behavior. Workshops and presentations are offered
on a variety of topics from marriage and parenting to separation and
divorce.
